HTML eMail Research
I like the cleanliness of this Barnes and Noble email. It is very easy to look at and browse quickly.
Bonnaroo's email has a fun logo. The top has a lot of personality, but I am not a big fan of the text below. It is a bit boring in comparison.
The use of image makes this email stick out to me. I like the plain text and simplicity of the green box.
GOOD sends a lot of emails and so this is a good layout for them to put images and text in it quickly and efficiently.
I don't like this example at all because there isn't much interest. The top and bottom don't have a good relationship
Living Social's emails always interest me. The information is very clear and I usually want to visit the website based on what I get in my inbox.
The colors and type choice of this email is very nice. I like the margins they use in the body copy.
I love Need Supply Co.'s emails. They don't have too much frill and their pictures/text are usually really large. Plus their clothes rule.
This is another Need email, I like this one because of the movement it creates down the page.
Nike has a good clean design, and I like the integration of picture and text.
The Nordstrom emails have a classic feel to them with good heirarchy and photos.
The illustration in this email shows that more time and was put in to it. I'm not a big fan of the black sidebar though.
